Top Chef Sara Bradley's Bacon Onion Jam Recipe
I love Top Chef, so I was over the moon when I found out the show was coming to Kentucky! About a month ago, the Easy Elegance crew hit the road to visit Chef Sara Bradley at her restaurant, Freight House, in Paducah.

Top Chef Sara Bradley’s Bacon-Onion Jam
Ingredients:
1 pint chopped onion
1 pint brown sugar
1 pint red wine vinegar
1 pint chopped bacon, cooked
1 tbsp. red chili flake
1 tbsp. granulated garlic
Sauté the onions until softened.
Add the sugar and vinegar, then reduce by half.
Add the cooked bacon and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chili flakes and granulated garlic.
Enjoy! This jam will keep for several weeks in the fridge.
